               When choosing your child's tutor, it is crucial to match personalities that will work well together. Here's a little about me. I am a mom of 4 beautiful, energetic children ranging from 5 to 12 years old. I am currently teaching 5th grade in Austin and love the energy, excitement, and creativity my students bring to class every day! I have a BA in Literature, MA in Education Policy with Focus on Multicultural Education, Early Childhood Education Units, EdD Units in Curriculum and Instruction, and finally MA in Elementary Education. With over ten years of experience in both tutoring and college essay/application editing, I am eager to use research based practices to help you reach your goals! Tutoring (math and language arts /all ages) Research based methods taught by a certified teacher with over 10 years of experience. I can work with you on classwork and homework extensions or provide my own TEKS based curriculum for any grade level. In addition, I am available for STAAR prep. Rates  1 hour a week = $50 2 hours a week= $90 College Prep  Editing: I provide college entrance essay editing. This consists of you sharing your essay topic and sending me your essay through google documents. I will be happy to send comments, suggestions, work with you until you are pleased with your essay. Rates $50/essay Or $50/hour and we can work face to face on your essay until it is fully edited.
